By creating an account, uploading a menu, or using any wowmenu service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "Restaurant Owner" or "User") and Hyve AI Labs FZCO ("we", "us", "our"), the company that operates the WowMenu and wowmenu brands, registered in Dubai, UAE.
If you are using wowmenu on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
wowmenu provides an AI-powered digital menu platform that allows restaurant owners to: - Upload and digitise restaurant menus via AI extraction - Publish digital menus accessible via QR codes - Offer multilingual AI-powered recommendations to guests - Accept orders directly to kitchen display systems - Manage multiple restaurant branches from a single account - Track engagement and revenue analytics - Create and manage promotional offers
The specific features available to you depend on your subscription plan. Free Basic plan features are described at wowmenu.me/pricing.
To use wowmenu, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for: - Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials - All activity that occurs under your account - Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information updated. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts with inaccurate information.
Plan selection and billing wowmenu offers a free Basic plan and paid plans (Pro, Business, Scale, Enterprise). Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in AED.
Automatic renewal Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Price changes We will provide 30 days' notice of any price changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Cancellation You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.
Refunds We do not offer refunds except where required by UAE consumer protection law or in cases of a material service failure on our part.
Failed payments If a payment fails, we will retry for 7 days. After 7 days of non-payment, your account will be downgraded to the Basic plan. Your data is retained.
Your content You retain ownership of all menu content (dish names, descriptions, photographs, and prices) that you upload to wowmenu. By uploading content, you grant wowmenu a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, process, and transmit that content as part of providing the service.
AI-extracted content Menu items extracted by wowmenu's AI from uploaded photographs are derived from your original content and remain your intellectual property.
wowmenu intellectual property The wowmenu platform, including its software, AI models, design, branding, and documentation, is proprietary to Hyve AI Labs FZCO. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform.
Accuracy of menu content You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all menu content, including prices, allergen information, availability, and descriptions. wowmenu does not verify the accuracy of menu content and accepts no liability for inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information.
You agree not to use wowmenu to: - Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights - Publish false, misleading, or fraudulent menu information - Violate UAE consumer protection law or Dubai Municipality F&B regulations - Attempt to access other users' accounts or data - Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform - Use the API in excess of published rate limits - Resell or white-label the platform without an enterprise agreement - Upload malicious code or conduct attacks against the platform or its infrastructure
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension without refund.
All full menu uploads are reviewed by the wowmenu team before publication. We reserve the right to reject any menu submission that: - Contains illegal, offensive, or fraudulent content - Violates UAE food labelling or consumer protection regulations - Is of insufficient quality for accurate AI extraction
Rejected submissions include written feedback explaining the reason. You may resubmit after addressing the feedback. Individual menu item edits made after initial approval do not require re-review.
Uptime We target 99.5% uptime for the customer-facing digital menu and 99% for the owner portal. Planned maintenance is communicated 48 hours in advance.
Service interruptions We are not responsible for downtime caused by third-party infrastructure failures, force majeure events, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Priority response times by plan: - Basic: best effort - Pro: 24-hour response for critical issues - Business: 4-hour response for critical issues - Enterprise: 1-hour response with dedicated SLA
To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law:
wowmenu is not liable for: - Loss of revenue or profits alleged to result from service downtime - Inaccurate AI recommendation outputs - Errors in AI-extracted menu content - Guest ordering decisions made based on digital menu content - Losses arising from payment gateway failures
Cap on liability In no event will wowmenu's total liability to you exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, with venue in the courts of Dubai.
For disputes involving amounts under AED 50,000, we encourage resolution through our support team (support@wowmenu.me) before escalating to formal proceedings.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) rules, with proceedings conducted in English.
Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide 30 days' notice of material changes via email and in-portal notification. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance.
